The 3rd race of the Bangalore Winter Meeting, The Hogenakkal Falls Plate, a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45 over 1600m, delivered an electrifying afternoon on Saturday, 15 November 2025 at 02:30 PM. ADELANTO (J: Angad), trained by Sriram Komandur and owned by Mrs Rohini Thuppal, showcased poise and determination, crossing the finish line in a winning time of 1:40.05 to claim a memorable victory.
From the outset, ADELANTO was well-positioned, maintaining a stalking position just off the early pace. As the field approached the final 400m, Angad found a clear path and urged the horse forward, displaying a surge of speed that left the rivals scrambling. The decisive burst in the closing stages ensured ADELANTO strode away with authority, leaving little doubt about the result.
The runner-up honors went to ADORNMENT (J: Antony Raj S., T: Darius R. Byramji), who narrowly missed out by a whisker, finishing in 1:40.07 after keeping the winner under pressure throughout the home stretch. LARISSA (J: P. Trevor, T: S.S. Attaollahi) held on for third, completing the course in 1:40.10, rounding out a tightly contested top three.
As the crowd celebrated ADELANTO’s commanding performance, attention now shifts to the next feature, The Hebbe Falls Plate, set for 03:00 PM, promising another thrilling encounter in Bangalore’s winter racing spectacle.
