The 6th race of the Mysore (Monsoon) Races 2025, The A.R. Subramanya Raj Urs Memorial Trophy, a Class II contest for horses rated 60 and above over 1200 metres, delivered thrilling action on Friday, 17th October 2025 at 04:30 PM. In a performance marked by speed and precision, ABSOLUTECHALLENGER (J: Prabhu Kumar M) powered past the competition for trainer Vishal Yadav, giving owner Mr Raj Ramprasad Singh a memorable victory in a time of 1:12.460.
From the start, ABSOLUTECHALLENGER settled smoothly in a prominent position, biding her time behind the early leader before launching a decisive surge in the final 300 metres. Maintaining a strong gallop and impeccable timing, Prabhu Kumar M guided the mare through a clear path, leaving rivals trailing and crossing the finish line with authority.
The runner-up spoils went to GOLD KITE (J: Imran Chisty, T: K Aditya), who stayed in contention throughout and finished just behind in 1:12.598. GRIZZLY (J: Afsar Khan, T: Majid Khan) produced a late rally to claim third in 1:13.219, rounding off a closely contested top three.
