Fort Erie Race Track is set to host its exciting Canada Day Live Racing on July 1st, 2025, featuring six competitive races to mark the national celebration. The festive atmosphere will include live racing action, a bustling farmers’ market, and free family-friendly activities, making it a perfect day out for all ages.

The racing programme begins at 5:15 PM with a claiming race over five furlongs and 110 yards on the dirt track, offering total prize money of US$13,500. The contenders for the opening race include Collaborative, ridden by Edgar Zenteno and trained by Nick Mileni, Golden Wind with jockey Andre Martin and trainer Lauren Spada, Grand Ambition partnered by Xarel Forde and trained by Anthony Adamo, M C Jackhammer with jockey Da Sean Gaskin and trainer Joseph Humber, and Brady O’Brady ridden by Christopher Husbands and trained by Kenneth Smith.

The second race of the day is another claiming event, covering six furlongs on dirt, with prize money of US$13,500, scheduled for 5:43 PM.
