The curtain came down on the eighth day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting with a competitive renewal of The Mystic Memory Plate, a 1400-meter handicap for horses rated 40 to 65. Run at 5:00 PM, the concluding race of the day carried a prize purse of ₹6,30,000 and fittingly ended a memorable afternoon of racing at Bangalore Turf Club.

Emerging as the final star of the day was Emphatic, ridden with confidence by A. Sandesh and trained by veteran conditioner S. Padmanabhan. Showing a blend of tactical positioning and late acceleration, Emphatic surged to the front in 1:25.04 and sealed a decisive win to close the race day on a high note.

Finishing second was Victor Hugo, who showed promise under L. Alex Rozario and the guidance of Irfan Ghatala. Despite a spirited late run, Victor Hugo had to settle for the runner-up spot as it timed in 1:25.08.

Completing the frame in third was Super Marvella, ridden by S. Sachin and trained by Neil B Devaney, who maintained a strong gallop to round out the top three by completing the race in 1:25.69.

With all eight races now in the books, the day concluded with a mix of drama, class, and standout performances. As fans begin to leave the stands, the focus now shifts to the next race day scheduled at Bangalore on June 14, 2025. Until then, racing enthusiasts will reflect on an afternoon where champions rose and reputations were made.
