The Mysore Race Club Ltd had originally scheduled the commencement of the Mysore Summer Races 2025 for May 28th. However, due to heavy rains leading to unfit track conditions, the Stewards of the Club have exercised their authority and postponed the season opener to Friday, May 30th, 2025. This decision has been made in the best interests of the horses and jockeys, ensuring their safety and welfare. The integrity of the racecard remains intact, promising the same level of racing excitement and competition for fans and participants alike.

The revised race day will feature a seven-race card, maintaining the thrill and momentum expected from the Mysore Summer Races. The day kicks off with The Beloved Prince Plate, a 1100-meter race exclusively for Indian maiden horses. These contenders will look to break their maiden tags in a competitive environment. The total prize purse for the race is ₹10,50,000, making it one of the highlights of the day. Among the first five horses listed on the card are FALCON FURY (Jockey: Vinod Shinde, Trainer: Pratap Kamath M), MISTY WARRIOR (Jockey: C. Umesh, Trainer: Mandanna K S), MYSORE PHARAOH (Jockey: Sah Farid Ansari, Trainer: Pratap Kamath M), ADENA (Jockey: L. Alex Rozario, Trainer: Feroz M Khan), and ARIANNE (Jockey: S.
