All Attraction Impresses in Commanding Victory at BTC’s Kunigal Stud Plate

The second race of the opening day at the Bangalore Turf Club’s Summer Meeting 2025 unfolded with spirited competition and a standout performance in the Kunigal Stud Plate. Run over 1400 meters for horses rated 40 to 65 and aged five years and above, the race offered a handsome purse of Rs. 6,30,000 and delivered a finish that had the BTC crowd roaring with excitement.

Emerging as the clear victor was ALL ATTRACTION, trained by V. Lokanath and ridden to perfection by jockey Vivek G. Clocking 1:29.59, the gelding produced a strong turn of foot in the final furlong to pull away from the rest of the field, earning a decisive win for owners M/s. Kunal Gupta Stud Farm LLP, whose celebrations matched the occasion.

Trailing closely in second place was KNOTTY PATTON, guided by ace jockey A. Sandesh and trained by K. Purshotham, who pushed hard in the closing stages but had to settle for runner-up honours with a time of 1:30.08. The five-year-old showed solid form and could be a major contender in upcoming races with this consistent performance.

Rounding out the top three was FORTUNATE SON, trained by M. K. Jadhav piloted by Prashant P.Dhebe showcased excellent skills. The gelding clocked 1:30.79, maintaining a strong pace but lacking the final kick needed to challenge the front-runners.

With two engaging races already in the books, BTC’s summer curtain-raiser has lived up to expectations. The wins by MEHRA in the Ich Dien Plate and now ALL ATTRACTION in the Kunigal Stud Plate have given the season an electrifying start, setting the stage for more thrilling contests ahead.
