The global spotlight returns to Shanghai as the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) gallops back from 2nd to 4th May 2025, bringing together 52 of the world’s most accomplished show jumping riders. With the stakes higher than ever and the city’s skyline providing an awe-inspiring backdrop, the LGCT of Shanghai 2025 promises an unmissable blend of sport, spectacle, and sheer equestrian brilliance.

Reigning champion Gilles Thomas leads the charge, returning to defend his title against Edwina Tops-Alexander and Michael Duffy, who finished second and third respectively in last year’s Grand Prix of Shanghai. The reunion of these top three athletes from 2024 sets the stage for a thrilling showdown in one of the tour’s most anticipated stops.
