More than 48,000 spectators gathered at Aintree Racecourse on Friday for the second day of the Randox Grand National Festival, embracing the spirit and glamour of Ladies Day. With a vibrant and stylish crowd in attendance, the day was filled with both fashion flair and thrilling equine action, contributing to an unforgettable atmosphere across the venue.

A lively energy pulsed through the racecourse as guests arrived dressed in elegant ensembles, creating a visual spectacle that perfectly complemented the day’s top-tier racing. The much-anticipated Style Awards, hosted in collaboration with River Island, brought an added layer of excitement. The winners – Rachel Ellis, Katie Morris, and Lucas Nurney – stood out among a sea of dazzling outfits, each receiving recognition and prizes for their standout style.

Adding to the day’s celebratory tone, Randox announced an extension of their title sponsorship for the Grand National, confirming their continued involvement until 2029. This commitment solidifies the company’s long-term support not only for the iconic race itself but also for the events and community initiatives that surround it throughout the year.

Earlier in the day, a heartwarming visit to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital took place, featuring current and former jockeys as well as the beloved Grand National champion Neptune Collonges. The visit brought joy to young patients and offered a reminder of the sport’s wider connection to the community.

As the festival builds to its crescendo, anticipation is mounting for the main event – the 177th edition of the world-renowned Randox Grand National, scheduled for Saturday. With local pride and international attention centered on Aintree, the final day promises to deliver the excitement and spectacle the race has become famous for.
