The fifth race on the card at RWITC, the Aakriti Art Gallery Million, a 1400-meter contest, offered a total prize pool of Rs.15,00,000, with Rs.7,05,000 reserved for the winner. The race lived up to expectations, featuring a competitive field and an exciting finish.
The top honours went to JADE, brilliantly ridden by jockey N Bhosale and trained by the in-form P Shroff. The filly timed 1:21:841 and returned with odds of 2.50, showcasing an authoritative performance to secure first place.
Finishing close in second was CELESTIAL, also from the P Shroff yard, partnered with jockey Vivek G. The horse completed the run in 1:22:313 with odds of 9, giving the stable a solid one-two finish.
The tote-favourite, BASHIR, trained by Karthik Ganapathy and ridden by A Sandesh, settled for third after a determined effort, clocking 1:22:361 with odds of 2.25.
