Dubai World Cup 2025 to reach record 170 countries in global broadcast

The US$30.5million Dubai World Cup fixture at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, 5 April will be seen in 170 countries in all corners of the globe.

The world’s most international race day, the Dubai World Cup, will be broadcast to a record 170 countries on April 5, ensuring global coverage of the US$30.5 million event at Meydan Racecourse. With more than a dozen nations represented across nine elite races, including the $12 million Dubai World Cup (G1), Dubai Racing Club has partnered with Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and HBA Media to deliver an unprecedented worldwide audience.

A record 41 broadcasters will air the event, including Fox Sports (US), ESPN/Star+ (South America), SuperSport (Africa), Viaplay (Europe), and Fancode (India). Australian viewers will see the Dubai World Cup on mainstream television for the first time via Channel 7, while Sport 24 will bring the coverage to selected airlines and cruise ships, including title sponsor Emirates Airline.

Dubai Racing Club CEO His Excellency Mr. Ali Al Ali expressed his delight at the global interest, highlighting the event’s growing international prestige. Seb Vance, Director of International TV Distribution at RMG, emphasized the strength of their long-standing partnership with Dubai Racing Club in delivering record-breaking audiences.

CNN Worldwide, reaching over 347 million households, will feature the event in its World Sport programming, while Reuters will distribute race highlights to news outlets. Broadcasters can choose from the World Feed, Track Feed, or a special “Crown Jewels Racing” program, which features the Dubai World Cup alongside the Randox Grand National and Dubai Sheema Classic.

With an ever-expanding global reach, the Dubai World Cup continues to solidify its reputation as one of the most prestigious events in international horse racing.
