Trained by Vikash Jaiswal and ridden by Varun, the duo made a strong statement, securing their second win of the day after triumphing in the Zelda Handicap. Zambezi clocked 1:41.287, winning at 10/1 odds.
Coming in second was Fortune Warrior, guided by jockey Abhishek Mhatre and trained by B. R. Reddy, who narrowly missed out on victory, finishing in 1:41.337 at 10/1 odds.
Completing the top three was Multistarrer, piloted by Imran Chisty under the training of Rutherford Alford, marking another strong finish for the duo. The horse completed the race in 1:41.670 at odds of 9/1.
Meanwhile, Tortilla Chip entered the race as the tote-favorite, but the final stretch belonged to Zambezi, wrapping up an action-packed day at RCTC on a spectacular note.
