Gold Kite secured a narrow victory in Race 5 of the Mysore Monsoon Races 2026 Meeting, 16th Day, on Sunday, October 25. Ridden by S Saqlain and trained by Aditya K, Gold Kite won The Smt Gayatri Devi and Sardar K.B. Ramachandraraj Urs Million, a 1200-metre contest held at 3:10 PM, for owner Mr Kunal N Sharma, clocking 1:13.088 in a closely fought finish.
The Mysore race results on October 25 saw Gold Kite prevail in a contest where the leading runners were separated by fine margins. Saqlain guided the winner through the closing stages, finding enough acceleration to hold off the challenge of Tom Cruiser. The decisive effort proved crucial, as Gold Kite crossed the finish line with only a narrow advantage after an absorbing sprint over 1200 metres.
Tom Cruiser, ridden by S. Sachin and trained by Arvind V, finished second in 1:13.162, just 0.074 seconds behind the winner. Emphatic, partnered by Akshay Kumar and trained by James Mckeown, claimed third place in 1:13.300, completing a tightly contested finish among the leading three.
Gold Kite’s victory added another result to the Mysore Monsoon Races 2026 programme, with the afternoon’s action continuing at Mysore Racecourse. The next contest, The Maj. P.K. Mehra Memorial Super Mile Cup, was scheduled for 3:40 PM.
