Chantilly Racecourse will host an eight-race programme on Monday, 26 October 2026, featuring a mix of Listed contests, Group III events and handicap races. The meeting will begin at 12:00 PM with the Grand Prix du Nord and conclude at 4:15 PM with the Prix de Seine-et-Oise. The schedule includes opportunities for two-year-old and three-year-old horses, alongside races for older runners over distances ranging from 1,100 metres to 2,000 metres.

The Prix de Seine-et-Oise, scheduled for 4:15 PM, will be one of the meeting’s principal attractions, carrying prize money of €73,200. The Group III contest will be run over 1,200 metres and has attracted a field of 19 participants, making it the largest field on the card. The race will provide a competitive conclusion to the afternoon, with experienced horses aged three and above set to contest the sprint distance.

The action will open at 12:00 PM with the Grand Prix du Nord, a Listed race for three-year-old horses over 2,000 metres. With prize money of €50,300, the contest will test stamina and race positioning over a longer trip. The field comprises eight participants, and the race will set the tone for a programme that combines middle-distance events with shorter contests.

At 12:35 PM, the Prix Isonomy will bring two-year-old horses into focus. The Listed race will be run over 1,800 metres and offers €54,900 in prize money. With seven participants scheduled to take part, the contest will provide a valuable test for young horses as they continue their development over a middle-distance course.

The third race, the Darley Prix des Reservoirs, is scheduled for 1:10 PM. This Group III event is reserved for two-year-old horses and will be run over 1,600 metres, with €73,200 in prize money. A field of six participants is listed for the race. The contest will be an important feature for the younger generation, offering a higher-class test over a mile and placing emphasis on pace, balance and finishing strength.

At 1:55 PM, the Prix de la Route des Princes will feature a handicap contest for horses aged three and above. The race will cover 1,600 metres and carry €50,900 in prize money. Classified as a Classe 2 handicap, it has attracted 16 participants. The larger field is expected to create a closely contested race in which tactical decisions and the ability to secure a suitable position could prove important.

The fifth race, the Critérium de Vitesse, will take place at 2:30 PM. This Listed contest is designed for two-year-old horses and will be run over 1,100 metres, with €54,900 in prize money. Thirteen participants are listed for the sprint event. The shorter distance will place the emphasis on early acceleration, speed and the ability to maintain momentum through the closing stages.

The programme will continue at 3:05 PM with the Prix de la Route des Blanchisseurs, a Classe 3 handicap for horses aged three and above. The 1,600-metre contest carries €21,100 in prize money and has attracted 12 participants. The race will add another mile event to the schedule, requiring runners to combine speed with effective positioning throughout the course.

At 3:40 PM, the Prix de la Route Belleval will provide the seventh race of the afternoon. Also classified as a Classe 3 handicap, it is open to horses aged three and above and will be contested over 1,600 metres. The race offers €25,900 in prize money, with 13 participants listed. As the meeting approaches its final event, the contest will provide another opportunity for horses to demonstrate consistency and finishing ability over the mile distance.

The card will then conclude with the Prix de Seine-et-Oise at 4:15 PM, completing a varied afternoon of racing at Chantilly. Across the eight races, the programme features three Listed contests, two Group III events and three handicap races, with opportunities for both developing young horses and older competitors.

With races scheduled at regular intervals throughout the afternoon, the Chantilly meeting on 26 October promises a varied programme of French flat racing. The combination of sprint contests, mile races and a longer 2,000-metre opener will test different racing qualities, while the two Group III events will provide the principal highlights of the day.
