The Inglis Digital October Sale will feature a share in leading young stallion Ole Kirk, Group-placed colt Confederation and several notable racing and breeding prospects, with the 266-lot catalogue now open for bidding. The sale will bring together racehorses, broodmares, young stock and stallion shares, with the final bidding period scheduled to close from 10am on Wednesday.

A share in Ole Kirk, the 2024/25 Champion First Season Sire, will rank among the leading entries in the Inglis Digital October Sale. His yearlings have sold for up to $1 million, while his progeny have included Group 1 winner Ole Dancer, Group 1 performers Legacy Bound and Regal Award, and recent Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes winner Shraddha. Ole Kirk will enter the 2026 breeding season fully booked at a service fee of $110,000.

Confederation, a colt by Wootton Bassett trained by Chris Waller, will provide another notable opportunity for prospective buyers. The colt has raced five times and recorded two Group 3 placings, finishing second in the Canonbury Stakes as a juvenile before taking third in the Vain Stakes at three. Purchased for $650,000 as a yearling, he has competed exclusively at Group level throughout his career.

Queen Of Clubs will add further appeal to the catalogue as a racing and breeding prospect. The daughter of Maurice has demonstrated high-class form in Sydney, including a 1,400-metre victory at Rosehill as a two-year-old and a third-place finish in the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes.

Inglis Digital October Sale Features 266 Lots

The Inglis Digital October Sale catalogue will comprise 266 lots, including 139 racehorses, among them 60 fillies, alongside 72 racehorse shares, 28 broodmares, 13 two-year-olds, seven yearlings, five unraced horses and two stallion shares.

Other highlights will include a stallion share in Better Than Ready, whose progeny have produced more than 100 individual winners in each of the past five seasons. Two five per cent shares in Cripps will also be offered. The horse, a last-start Golden Tapaz winner, has won five of his 10 career starts.

Crying Cricket will feature among the younger racing prospects after winning his only start in a time faster than the class standard. Durova, who has won eight of her 17 starts, will be offered as a racing and breeding prospect.

The breeding selections will include Flying Sarki, an unraced half-sister to Headwall, offered with a Farnan filly at foot. Global Pivot, a winning daughter of Pierro, will be presented with a Storm Boy colt at foot, while Group 3-placed mare High Lago will be offered with a Shinzo filly.

Kiama, a sister to Group 1 winner Foxplay, will enter the sale with an Exceedance filly at foot. Lovelycut, a metropolitan winner who has also placed at stakes level, will provide another breeding prospect as a sister to a stakes winner.

Shares in promising young horses will also feature in the Inglis Digital October Sale. Two 2.5 per cent shares in She’s Supreme, the third-place finisher in the Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes, will be available ahead of the filly’s planned appearance in the $400,000 Listed Inglis Banner. A five per cent share in Sovereign Hill, a multiple metropolitan winner who has already earned more than $300,000 in prize money, will also be offered.

The catalogue will additionally include an unnamed two-year-old colt who is a brother to Group 1-winning juvenile Tron Bolt. Other two-year-olds and unnamed stock will represent stallions including Zoustar, Toronado, Rubick, Supido, Written By and Zousain.

Broodmares in foal to, and mares accompanied by foals from, stallions including Exceedance, Farnan, Grunt, North Pacific, Shinzo, Storm Boy and Traffic Warden will broaden the breeding opportunities available to buyers.

Several established racing and breeding operations will support the catalogue, including Trilogy, Lindsay Park, Archibald Racing, Chris Waller, Gollan Racing, Waterhouse/Bott, O’Shea/Charlton, Redfox, Ciaron Maher, Blue Gum, Larneuk Stud, Langdale Park, Kris Lees and Proven Thoroughbreds.
