Fazza Stables will prepare for another UAE campaign with Bernardo Pinheiro returning early to the country ahead of the Dubai Racing Club at Meydan Racecourse. The Brazilian jockey will rejoin Salem bin Ghadayer’s operation and will begin planning for the new season before the Carnival gets underway on November 6.
Pinheiro will return to the UAE after a successful summer in Malaysia, where he rode 38 winners during around four months of racing. His results will include victories in Listed races and another Group 1, giving him strong momentum as he prepares to resume his UAE commitments.
The 30-year-old jockey will arrive in Dubai after first spending two weeks in Brazil following the end of the previous UAE season. He will use that break to spend time with family and friends before continuing his racing career in Malaysia.
Pinheiro will now turn his attention back to the UAE, where he has been based with Fazza Stables for the past two seasons. His early arrival will allow him to meet with bin Ghadayer and discuss plans for the campaign ahead.
Bernardo Pinheiro UAE Return Brings Focus to Meydan Racecourse
The Bernardo Pinheiro UAE Return will bring an experienced rider back to Meydan Racecourse, where he will be looking forward to another season of major meetings and feature races. The jockey will again have the opportunity to compete for Fazza Stables while also taking rides for other trainers when required.
Pinheiro will also ride for trainers Hamad Al Marar and Qaiss Aboud when he is not required by bin Ghadayer. His previous UAE campaign will provide a strong base for the new season, following a tally of 44 winners and a third-place finish in the Jockeys’ Championship during 2025-26.
One of the highlights of that campaign will be Classic success aboard Labwah in the G3 UAE Oaks. The filly will remain one of the horses Pinheiro will be keen to follow when the new season begins.
Alongside Labwah, Pinheiro will also be looking forward to returning to several other Fazza Stables horses. Masmak, Desperate Hero and Folk Festival will be among the names he will be keen to partner again after their contributions during the previous campaign.
Pinheiro’s early return will be aimed at giving him time to discuss the stable’s plans with bin Ghadayer. He will also use the opportunity to assess the horses and prepare for the demanding schedule that will follow once the Dubai Racing Carnival begins.
The jockey will continue to have ambitions of winning the UAE Jockeys’ Championship. However, he will regard the championship as one of several targets rather than his only objective for the season.
Pinheiro will enter the new campaign with considerable experience of racing in the UAE and will look to build on his previous results. His return will also add another established rider to the preparations at Fazza Stables as the operation works towards the opening stages of the Dubai Racing Carnival.
The Bernardo Pinheiro UAE Return will see the Brazilian jockey rejoin Fazza Stables early and prepare for another campaign at Meydan Racecourse during the Dubai Racing Carnival.
