Mysore Race Club conducted a seven-race programme on Thursday, 17 September 2026, with N R I JETPOWER leading the winners after securing The Kasargod Plate Division II. COMO, DASADYU, CLOUDY HILLS, GACHCHHATU, SASSY SARAH and LORDS GRACE also recorded victories across the card. Each race produced a different winner, while the programme featured a variety of performances from the opening contest through to the concluding Fleet Indian Plate.
The opening race, The Kasargod Plate Division II, went to N R I JETPOWER, who completed the race in 1:12.805. Mohd Talib partnered the winner, who was trained by Md Sajid Qureshi. The ownership was held by Mr Ravinder Reddy Male. PEARL OF MYSORE finished second, while SHE’S SO BEAUTIFUL took third place.
The Fair Wood Plate followed, with COMO securing the second victory of the programme. Ridden by Akshay Kumar and trained by Attaollahi S S, Como recorded a winning time of 1:11.352. The winner was owned by DT Racing & Breeding LLP, represented by Mr DR Thacker, along with M/s SR Sanas and Ashok Ranpise. GARZIAN finished runner-up, while SINDOOR completed the top three.
The Kasargod Plate Division I was won by DASADYU, who stopped the clock at 1:12.252. Y S Srinath rode the winner for trainer Aravind G. Dasadyu was owned by Mr Mahesh V Chakankar. STAR SYMPHONY finished second and GLOWING MOONLIGHTS secured third.
The Police Trophy then went to CLOUDY HILLS, who completed the race in 1:24.771. Aleemuddin partnered the winner, with Bobby M handling the training duties. The horse was owned by M/s Rapar’s Galloping Stars LLP. ULTIMATE BLUES followed in second, while NATURAL TORNADO took third place.
The K.T. Shamaiah Gowda Memorial Trophy produced another individual winner as GACHCHHATU secured the top position in 1:22.167. Neeraj Rawal was aboard the winner, who was trained by Neelesh N Rawal. Gachchhatu was owned by Villoo Poonawalla Racing & Breeding Pvt Ltd, represented by Dr Cyrus S Poonawalla and Mr Adar C Poonawalla, along with M/s Vara Prasad Reddy and N Shyam Sunder. POWER OF BEAUTY finished second and VISHWAS was third.
The Castle Bridge Plate was won by SASSY SARAH, who recorded a time of 1:37.159. P. Trevor partnered the winner for trainer Prasanna Kumar P. The ownership was held by M/s K Manoj Kumar, Mr K Harish Nayak and H J Balram. SASSY finished in second place, while ZEPHYRINE secured third.
The concluding contest, The Fleet Indian Plate, went to LORDS GRACE, who completed the race in 1:11.765. Ankit Pal rode the winner for trainer Gnanashekar A. Lords Grace was owned by Mr M S Manjunath. SUNWAY LAGOON finished second and EXCELLENT WARRIOR took third.
The seven-race programme therefore produced seven separate winners, with no horse recording more than one victory during the card. N R I Jetpower opened the programme with a 1:12.805 success, while Lords Grace closed the day with the final win in 1:11.765. Como, Dasadyu, Cloudy Hills, Gachchhatu and Sassy Sarah completed the list of winners.
