The Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC) conducted a seven-race meeting on Wednesday, 26 August, with the afternoon programme beginning at 2:00 PM. The card featured contests from Class V to Class II, along with the Calcutta Monsoon Sprint, and produced seven winners across the meeting.

At 2:00 PM, The Brown Wolf Handicap was contested for Class V horses rated 1-26 and carried total prize money of Rs.3,00,000. LINEUPANDCOLLECT won the race in 2:10.726 under V R Jagadeesh, with B Rajender Reddy as trainer and Mr Faiz Adam as owner. SIMRAN’S ATTITUDE finished second, while FORTUNE WARRIOR took third place.
At 2:30 PM, The Sreepriya Plate was held for three-year-old horses rated 21-46, with horses rated 1-26 also eligible. The race carried total prize money of Rs.11,00,000. TETSU secured the victory in 1:15.092, with P. Trevor in the saddle and Arti Doctor as trainer. The winning ownership comprised Dr S P Sardeshmukh, M/s Mukteshwar Racing LLP, M/s United Investments, Mr Nihar Dugar, Mr Vishal Doctor, Mr Kamal J Doctor rep M/s Deciding Factor LLP, Mr Rajesh Sarda, Mr Hemang Devendra Doctor, Mr Achuthan Siddharth and Mr Devansh Jhunjhunwala. STARLINER finished second and VALERIAN was third.
At 3:00 PM, The Thrifty Allan Handicap was run for Class IV horses rated 21-46, with horses rated 1-26 also eligible, and carried total prize money of Rs.4,00,000. RAMBHA won in 1:42.831, with Akshay Kumar riding for trainer Arti Doctor. The owners were Mrs Rina Mahindra, Mr Marthand Singh Mahindra, Mr Lokesh P Phulphagar, Mr Enrico Piperno, Mr Bal Krishan Agarwal, Mr Achuthan Siddharth, Mr Bimal Kumar Goenka, Mr Subhrodeep Banerjee, Mr Sailesh Sharma, Mr Amit Kumar Saraogi and Mr Samanteshwar Sharma. ROYAL MEMBER finished second, while KEITARO took third.
At 3:30 PM, The True Colours Handicap was contested for Class II horses rated 61-86, with horses rated 41-66 also eligible. The race offered total prize money of Rs.5,50,000 and was won by MORANO in 1:13.174. P. Trevor rode the winner for trainer Arti Doctor, with ownership listed as Mr C K Pasari & Miss D Pasari rep M/s United Investments, Mr Chandrakanta Kankaria, Mr Rajesh Sarda and M/s Mukteshwar Racing LLP. TIMELESS FORTUNE finished second and GHIRARDELLI took third.
At 4:00 PM, The Calcutta Monsoon Sprint was staged for horses aged four years and over, with total prize money of Rs.13,44,000. BLACK EAGLE won in 1:12.139 under Nikhil Naidu for trainer B Rajender Reddy. The winner was owned by Mr Faiz Adam. PANTAZI finished second, while KING LOUIS secured third place.
At 4:30 PM, The Goldliner Handicap Division I was run for Class III horses rated 41-66, with horses rated 21-46 also eligible. The race carried total prize money of Rs.5,00,000. GIMMLER secured the win in 1:14.305, with A. Ashhad Asbar riding for trainer Rutherford Alford. The winner was owned by M/s Cherie Sports Pvt Ltd and Mr K K Belliappa. FAST APPROACH finished second and CORTADO took third.
At 5:00 PM, The Goldliner Handicap Division II brought the seven-race programme to a close. The Class III contest carried total prize money of Rs.5,00,000 and was won by TRILLIONAIRE, ridden by V R Jagadeesh and trained by B Rajender Reddy. The winner was owned by Mr Praveen Kumar Katakam. The winning time was 1:14.490. FOUJITA finished second, while THREE LITTLE WORDS was third.
