Windsor Racecards 24 August: Six Races

Opening the meeting at 5:13pm, THE UK RACING FILLIES’ NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 4) will be run over 6f 12y for £10,000. Five runners will be scheduled to contest the opening event, with Encore, Cercis, Just Dreaming, Queen of Hope and Sunday Girl making up the field. The contest will begin the programme with a relatively short novice test before the card moves towards its feature race.

The principal contest of the evening will follow at 5:48pm, when THE JUDDMONTE EBF RESTRICTED NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 2) will take place over 1m 57y. The two-year-old race will carry £30,000, making it the most valuable event on the card. Ten runners will be scheduled to line up, including Camarda Rc, Distant Sun, Regalism, Aethelstan Gold, Banged Up, Biscaysian, Son of A Fish and The Sergeon.

A step up in distance will come at 6:18pm, with THE MATCH 6 HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) scheduled over 1m 3f 125y. The £10,800 contest will feature seven runners: Melek Alreeh, Raulin, Percival, Morcar, Just An Hour, Tai Hang Pegasus and Cape Fear. The race will provide the longest-distance test of the evening.

The card will then move into Class 6 company at 6:48pm, when THE HANDICAP STAKES will be staged over 1m 57y for three-year-olds. Worth £7,200, the contest will feature six runners, with Ecclefechan, Berkshire Boom, Sup of Red, Buckland Belle, Torbados and Who Is Alice scheduled to take part.

A shorter-distance handicap will follow at 7:18pm, with another THE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) taking place over 6f 12y. The three-year-old contest will carry £7,200 and will feature nine runners. Molly Mac, Star Obsession, Venetian Romance, Cape Toronada, Koffee And Kale, Beach Partee and Hellcat will be among the listed runners.

The final contest will bring the meeting to a close at 7:48pm, with THE WINDSOR HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) scheduled over 5f 21y. The £7,200 event will feature nine runners, including Our Planet, Trafalger, Just Jump, Desdemona, Darkened Edge, Faustus, The Bear of Saints and Dragon God.

The evening card will provide a broad range of distances and race conditions. The opening contest will be run over 6f 12y, while the feature novice event will extend beyond a mile. The third race will offer the longest test at 1m 3f 125y before the final three contests will focus on Class 6 handicaps.

The Juddmonte EBF Restricted Novice Stakes will command particular attention because of its Class 2 status and £30,000 prize fund. The two-year-old event will be one of the key tests of the meeting and will provide a different challenge from the handicap contests scheduled later in the evening.

The latter stages of the programme will feature three Class 6 handicaps. The first will cover 1m 57y, followed by a 6f 12y contest and the concluding sprint over 5f 21y. This progression will give the meeting a clear change of pace as the evening moves towards its final race.

With six contests scheduled between 5:13pm and 7:48pm, Windsor will provide a compact evening programme combining novice racing with handicap action. The £30,000 Class 2 event will headline the card, while the remaining races will offer competition across Class 4 and Class 6 levels.

The Windsor Racecards 24 August will feature six races from 5:13pm to 7:48pm, with the £30,000 Juddmonte EBF Restricted Novice Stakes forming the main feature of the evening.
