Run over 1600 metres at 05:00 PM, the race witnessed HER CHARGE deliver a composed performance under Bhawani Singh for trainer Karthik Ganapathy, securing the win for owner Mr S Pathy. The latest Pune race result 2nd August added another memorable performance to the Special Raceday card.
HER CHARGE travelled smoothly throughout the mile contest, maintaining a strong position before producing the decisive move in the final stages. Under a well-timed ride from Bhawani Singh, the Karthik Ganapathy-trained runner displayed determination and stamina to surge ahead and secure the top spot in The Zephyr Bay Plate.
The runner-up position was secured by ROYAL CHAMP (J: Antony Raj S., T: Imtiaz A. Sait), who put in a determined effort to finish second. MA CHERIE (J: A. S. Peter, T: Sangramsinh N. Joshi) completed the frame in third place after staying competitive through the closing stages.
