Pune Racecourse witnessed another promising maiden emerge during the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) Pune Meeting, Special Raceday on Sunday, 02nd August 2026, as COFFEE AT ELEVEN justified the confidence of his connections with an authoritative victory in the 8th Race, The Dr. P. K. Sardeshmukh Maharaj Trophy DIV I. The Terms race for Maiden Indian Horses, three years old only, over 1200 metres, was run at 4:30 PM, with A. Sandesh producing a polished ride aboard the Aman Altaf Hussain-trained runner, who stopped the clock in 1:09.231. Racing for Mr Dinsha P. Shroff, Mr Munchi P. Shroff, Mr Nariman Dickey Chothia & Mrs Aban N. Chothia rep. ANR Racing LLP, Mr Saleem Fazelbhoy & Mr Mukul Sonawala, COFFEE AT ELEVEN delivered a performance that suggested brighter days lie ahead.

Adding another notable chapter to the Pune race result 2nd August, the three-year-old travelled comfortably behind the early pace before A. Sandesh gradually improved his position approaching the home bend. Once asked for his effort, COFFEE AT ELEVEN responded with an impressive burst of acceleration, quickly asserting his superiority inside the final furlong and drawing clear to register a convincing maiden triumph.

PURE SOUL chased gamely throughout and finished second in 1:09.717 under P. Trevor for trainer Prasanna Kumar P., while MANUEL, partnered by Kirtish Bhagat for trainer P. Shroff, stayed on strongly to secure third in 1:09.781, ensuring the minor placings were decided by narrow margins.

With another maiden successfully concluded, attention now shifts to the 9th Race, The Zephyr Bay Plate, scheduled for 5:00 PM, where the day’s racing promises another competitive contest before the curtain falls on the Pune Meeting.
