Settled comfortably through the early stages, CHAGALL travelled fluently before being produced with perfect timing in the straight. Vivek G. waited patiently before asking for the decisive effort, and the response was immediate as the gelding accelerated smartly to edge clear in the closing strides. The well-executed ride, combined with the meticulous preparation from trainer P. Shroff, ensured CHAGALL secured another impressive success in competitive handicap company.
The runner-up position went to OPUS DEI, ridden by Yash Narredu for trainer Imtiaz A. Sait, who finished just fractions behind the winner in 1:26.535 after a determined challenge throughout the final furlong.
