Diamond Necklace produced a commanding performance at Goodwood to land the G1 Qatar Nassau Stakes, confirming her position among Europe’s leading three-year-old fillies with a smooth victory over older rivals.
The Aidan O’Brien-trained filly travelled strongly throughout the 10-furlong contest and displayed a sharp turn of foot when asked for her effort by jockey Ryan Moore. Once in front, Diamond Necklace quickly established control and pulled clear in the closing stages to secure another major success.
