The contest will provide an early opportunity for lightly raced horses to make their mark, with Ashwa Vivegam, Ojas Maximus, Yali, Ashwa Jaffna and Belgium Waffle expected to feature among the principal runners alongside several others.
Shortly afterwards, The Con Amore Plate Div II (Class II Handicap) will be run at 1:40 PM over 1,400 metres for horses rated 60 to 85, carrying prize money of ₹8,40,000. The expected field will include Ragnarok, Silver Act, Perception, Arabeska and Detective, ensuring another competitive contest as the programme gathers momentum.
Attention will then shift to The Adilabad Plate Div II (Maiden) at 2:10 PM, another 1,100-metre race for three-year-olds only with ₹12,25,000 on offer. My Way My Rules, Rajendra, You Tuber, Bayone and Calista Babe will headline the anticipated line-up in a race that will again showcase developing young horses.
Maintaining the competitive theme, The Con Amore Plate Div I (Class II Handicap) will follow at 2:45 PM over 1,400 metres for horses rated 60 to 85, with a prize fund of ₹8,40,000. Sugar, Decoy, Certanity, Hurricane Bay and Azrinaz will be among the expected contenders in another well-matched handicap.
Midway through the afternoon, The Basara Trophy (Class IV Handicap) will be staged at 3:20 PM over 1,400 metres for horses rated 20 to 45, offering total prize money of ₹6,50,000. Knotty Senorita, Bold Beauty, Great Giver, Gold Touch and Real Thalaivaa will be among those expected to contest the race, which will provide opportunities for runners in the lower handicap division.
The programme will then continue with The Salar Jung Trophy (Class III Handicap) at 3:55 PM over 1,200 metres for horses rated 40 to 65, carrying a purse of ₹7,40,000. One of the meeting’s principal contests will arrive with The Anab E Shahi Plate (Class I Handicap) at 4:30 PM over 1,200 metres for horses rated 80 and above, with total prize money of ₹12,25,000. Ashoka, Espionage, One N Only, Magnum and Black Onyx will be among the leading names expected to line up in the highest-class race of the programme.
Bringing the fixture to a close, The Tenacity Plate (Class II Handicap) will be contested at 5:05 PM over 1,200 metres for horses rated up to 25, with ₹5,00,000 in prize money. Farsiris, Most Beautiful, Aos Si, Deccan Ranger and Glimmer Of Hope will be among the expected runners as the eight-race programme reaches its conclusion.
