The eighth day of the Mysore Summer Races 2026 produced an entertaining seven-race programme at the Mysore Race Club on Wednesday, 15 July, with a series of closely contested finishes across the afternoon. From promising maiden performers to experienced campaigners, the card offered quality racing throughout, while Mother’s Grace emerged as the day’s standout performer with an authoritative victory in The Whitefield Plate, the feature event of the meeting.

For racing enthusiasts searching for the Mysore race result 15 July, the day’s card featured seven winners, highlighted by Mother’s Grace’s polished performance in the feature race and a double for jockey Ankit Pal.

The opening event, The Mudigere Plate Division II, a 1100-metre Maiden Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45, went the way of Scout, who broke through impressively under Ankit Pal for trainer Mansoor Khan and owner Mr Ramesh S. Clocking 1:04.689, Scout held off Hasting Sunrise (Anish Anamo Hangal/Surender G. T.) by a narrow margin, with Ineffable (S. Imran/J. Ganesh) finishing close behind in third after stopping the clock at 1:04.885.

Race two, The Kemmannugundi Plate, a 1200-metre Class V event for horses rated 0 to 25, saw Striking Viking produce a determined finish for jockey Vinod Shinde and trainer Pillay J. S. Racing in the colours of Mr Deepak Kumar, the winner covered the trip in 1:12.846, narrowly accounting for Feronia (Sah Farid Ansari/Rakesh) while Miracle Honey (A. Ashhad Asbar/S. Ashwin Rao) stayed on to claim third.

The pace remained strong in The Mudigere Plate Division I, another 1100-metre Class IV contest. Windborne delivered a smart performance under Antony Raj S. for trainer Vinesh V. Naik, giving owner Mrs Preeti C. Shah another memorable success. The winner recorded 1:04.553, with Habibti (A. Ashhad Asbar/H. Zulquarnain) finishing second and Mr Karnataka (Mohd Talib/P. Ruban) taking third after a closely fought sprint.

Over 1400 metres in The Bugle Rock Plate Division II, Sands of Dubai settled into a comfortable rhythm before asserting in the closing stages. Guided by B. Darshan Anthony and trained by K. Aditya, the representative of Kites Network Pvt Ltd & Mr Kunal N. Sharma stopped the clock at 1:23.940. Eagle Bluff (A. Ashhad Asbar/S. Ashwin Rao) finished second, while King Scarface (H. Rahul/Dhyan Subbaiah K.) completed the placings.

The staying contest of the afternoon, The Chevalier Cup, over 1800 metres for Class III horses rated 40 to 65, provided Ankit Pal with his second success of the meeting. Natural Diamond, prepared by Mansoor Khan for owner Mr Raja Malhotra, travelled strongly before drawing clear to register victory in 1:50.429. Worldly Wise (S. Imran/J. Ganesh) chased the winner home in second, with Chief Admiral (Aleemuddin/B. Suresh) only a fraction behind in third after a closely matched finish.

The spotlight then shifted to the afternoon’s feature, The Whitefield Plate, a 1400-metre Class II contest for horses rated 60 and above. Mother’s Grace produced the performance of the day, travelling confidently before quickening decisively in the straight under Arvind Kumar N. Trained by Suraj Prasad Shaw for Ms Rapar’s Galloping Stars LLP represented by Mr Rajendran, the winner covered the distance in an excellent 1:23.048. King’s Battalion, ridden by A. Ashhad Asbar for trainer H. Zulquarnain, finished a respectable second in 1:23.320, while Albinus (Jitendra Singh/R. Ramanathan) secured third. The manner in which Mother’s Grace settled the contest against accomplished opposition made the victory the defining performance of the meeting and the standout result of the eighth day’s programme.

The card concluded with The Bugle Rock Plate Division I, another 1400-metre Class IV event. Mystic Charm, partnered by Prabhu Kumar M and trained by K. S. Mandanna for owner Mr M. Raghunath, finished strongly to score in 1:24.211. Natural One (Ankit Pal/Mansoor Khan) followed home in second, while Blazing Star (C. A. Brisson/J. Sebastian) filled third after staying on gamely in the closing stages.

The meeting also featured notable individual performances, with Ankit Pal registering a riding double through Scout and Natural Diamond, while trainer Mansoor Khan also enjoyed two winners on the afternoon.
