The Bangalore race result 11th July continued to produce impressive performances as Race No. 3 – The Chennai Cup DIV I, a 1400-metre contest, was run at 02:30 PM during the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 21st day, Saturday, 11th July 2026. FELISA (J: Arvind Kumar N.) produced a polished winning effort for trainer Irfan Ghatala, stopping the clock in 1:24.62 while carrying the colours of Mr Santhosh G.
From the moment the gates opened, FELISA travelled comfortably in a prominent position before responding strongly when asked for an effort in the straight. Arvind Kumar N. judged the pace to perfection, allowing the mare to build momentum at the right stage of the race. Under the expert preparation of Irfan Ghatala, FELISA found another gear in the closing stages to secure victory with authority over the 1400-metre trip.
DEFENCE COUNSEL finished a creditable second in 1:25.76 for jockey Vivek G. and trainer S. Dominic, staying on well but unable to match the winner’s finishing burst. DISCIPLE completed the placings in 1:25.91, with Antony Raj S. in the saddle for trainer Arjun Mangalorkar, finishing just behind the runner-up after making late progress.
With another competitive contest completed, attention at Bangalore Turf Club now shifts to Race No. 4 – The Goa Plate DIV II, scheduled to jump at 03:00 PM, as the day’s racing action continues to build.
