Founded in 1890, Lingfield Park has become one of Britain’s leading all-weather venues. Since the installation of its synthetic racing surface in 1989, the racecourse has hosted year-round Flat racing alongside National Hunt fixtures during the winter. Its left-handed circuit and demanding uphill finish regularly produce closely contested races, making it a favourite among trainers and racing enthusiasts.

The meeting opens at 2:15 PM with The Download The At The Races App Selling Handicap Stakes (Class 6) over 1 mile 4 furlongs. Open to horses aged three years and older rated between 46 and 60, the contest carries a prize fund of £6,600. The staying trip is expected to reward runners capable of maintaining a strong gallop throughout.

The feature event follows at 2:45 PM with The Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Novice Stakes (Class 3) (Division I) over 7 furlongs and 2 yards. Carrying the day’s joint-highest prize fund of £12,000, the race has attracted an intriguing field of juveniles.

Among the leading contenders is Perfect Nation (IRE), trained by George Boughey and partnered by Billy Loughnane. After finishing runner-up on debut, the colt returns with valuable race experience and is expected to be among the principal challengers.

Cavalier (IRE), representing Richard Hannon with Sean Levey in the saddle, also has previous experience after making his debut earlier this season. Stablemate Son of A Fish (GB) makes his racecourse debut and adds further strength to Hannon’s challenge.

Drum Bay (GB) from the Ralph Beckett yard, Harbour Prince (GB) trained by James Horton, Mino (GB) for Marco Botti, Peak Tram (USA) from the powerful Sir Mark Prescott stable and There Goes My Hero (GB) trained by Keiran Burke all make their first appearances and could prove progressive youngsters.

The experienced Chelsea Banham sends Decisive Force (GB) after an encouraging debut, while Goblet (GB), the only filly in the field, represents Hughie Morrison and looks to improve after gaining experience in her opening starts.

Another quality juvenile contest follows at 3:15 PM with Division II of the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Novice Stakes (Class 3), again worth £12,000.

The race features Victory Gold (IRE) from the Saeed bin Suroor stable. Owned by Godolphin and partnered by Oisin Murphy, the colt brings the strongest published rating in the field and has already shown useful form, making him one of the standout runners.

Thunder Home (IRE), trained by Sir Mark Prescott, also arrives after finishing second previously and looks capable of further improvement. Cloud Summit (IRE) from George Boughey’s stable has race experience to build upon, while Romanza (GB) trained by Charlie Fellowes, Il Capo (IRE) from Richard Hannon, and Minzaal Time (IRE) representing Richard Hughes all return seeking progress after earlier outings.

Newcomers Ammes (GB) from Simon and Ed Crisford, Royal Titan (USA) trained by Marco Botti, and Sea Idol (GB) from James Horton add further depth to an already competitive contest.

At 3:45 PM, attention switches to stamina with The Syd Renwick 90th Birthday Handicap Stakes (Class 6) over 1 mile 7 furlongs and 169 yards. Worth £6,600, the race is expected to reward runners capable of staying the extended trip while producing a strong finish.

The second division of the same handicap follows at 4:50 PM, again over 5 furlongs and 6 yards with £10,200 on offer. Another competitive field of sprinters is expected to produce an exciting finish on Lingfield’s all-weather surface.

At 5:20 PM, The Expert Entertainment & Event Solutions Restricted Novice Stakes (Class 5) over 1 mile and 1 yard offers £8,000 in prize money. Restricted to horses aged three to five years, the race provides another valuable opportunity for lightly raced performers to continue their development.
