Opening the meeting, the Town and Country Cakes Restricted Novice Stakes (Class 4) saw EGYPTIAN PHARAOH make a winning start under Billy Loughnane. Trained by Oli Rix for owner Mr Andy Fei, the winner completed the contest in 2m 08.19s, with DIALSTONE finishing second and LIBERATE taking third after keeping on well in the closing stages.
The West Wales Properties Pembrokeshire Maiden Stakes (Class 4) provided Billy Loughnane with his second success of the afternoon as DARK WHISPER justified the strong performance for trainer David Menuisier and owner All For One Racing VII. The winner stopped the clock in 1m 41.39s, ahead of LEAN D’AISLINGEAN in second and IMPIERIOUS in third.
Attention then switched to the West Wales Properties Mayfair Classified Stakes (Class 6), where ANGEL’S CALL delivered victory for jockey Kieran O’Neill and trainer Nikki Evans. Racing in the colours of owner Mr John Berry (Gwent), the winner recorded 1m 33.76s, with KING OF THE DANCE finishing runner-up and A ROSE ADAAY completing the placings.
The WWP 34 Years Finding Customers Their Dream Homes Handicap Stakes (Class 6) brought up Billy Loughnane’s treble as TONAL produced another accomplished display for trainer Ian Williams and owner Sue Howell. The winner covered the distance in 1m 32.33s, finishing ahead of DAPPLED LIGHT, while CYPRIOT DIASPORA claimed third.
In the West Wales Properties Carmarthenshire Handicap Stakes (Class 6), FOREVER GLAMOROUS gave Gina Mangan and trainer Christopher Mason a deserved success for owner Mr S. Bishop. The winner recorded a swift 58.26s, with MY MATE MACKLEY taking second and FOLLOW MY HEART finishing third.
Bringing the meeting to its conclusion, the West Wales Properties Ceredigion Handicap Stakes (Class 6) was captured by GOLDEN FLAME, ridden by Zoe Lewis for trainer Thomas Faulkner and owners Howell Mcadam Faulkner. The staying contest was completed in 3m 34.49s, while MERRIJIG finished second and COGITAL secured third place.
Billy Loughnane’s three winning rides proved to be the defining feature of the meeting, while the remaining races showcased the strength and depth of competition across the Ffos Las card, with six trainers represented among the winners.
