The 4th race, a contest for 4 years old and over horses over 1200 metres, was held at 03:30 PM, where RIEKO produced a strong performance to secure victory. Owned by Mr P Arun Kumar, RIEKO, guided by jockey Neeraj Rawal and trained by S John, clocked an impressive time of 1:11.21. This result adds another notable chapter to the Bangalore race result 28th June coverage, with RIEKO standing out among the day’s winners.
RIEKO settled well through the early stages of The Chief Minister’s Cup before making a decisive move in the final stretch. Under a confident ride from Neeraj Rawal, the winner found the extra pace needed to edge ahead and maintain control until the finish line. The combination of tactical positioning and a powerful late surge helped RIEKO secure the top spot in a closely fought sprint.
Dream Seller (J: A. Sandesh, T: P. S. Chouhan) finished strongly to take second place, stopping the clock at 1:11.32, while Crown Drive (J: Hindu Singh, T: B. Suresh) followed closely behind in third with a time of 1:11.38. The compact finish highlighted the competitive nature of the 1200-metre contest.
