Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) hosted the 5th race of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 17th Day, on Saturday, 27th June 2026, with The S.M. Cama Music and Production Pvt Ltd Juvenile Sprinters’ Million, a prestigious contest for three-year-old horses over 1200 metres, scheduled at 4:00 PM. In the Bangalore race result 27th June, IRON MIRAGE produced a commanding display under Akshay Kumar to score in 1:11.39 for trainer Prasanna Kumar. The winner races in the colours of Mr Meka Yugandhar, Capt. Jamshed J. Appoo, Mr K. Manoj Kumar, Mr Ashok Ranpise and M/s DT Racing & Breeding LLP, who celebrated an impressive success in one of the day’s key juvenile contests.
Breaking smartly from the gates, IRON MIRAGE travelled comfortably through the early stages before asserting authority in the straight. Akshay Kumar judged the pace to perfection, positioning the colt within striking distance before asking for a decisive effort in the final furlong. Responding generously, IRON MIRAGE quickened away from the field to register a convincing victory, underlining both speed and professionalism over the six-furlong trip.
SHRISHTI finished second in 1:12.97, with Yash Narredu in the saddle for trainer Rajesh Narredu, staying on well but unable to challenge the winner’s finishing burst. A GREAT BUZZ completed the placings in third, clocking 1:13.07 under Pavan for trainer Irfan Ghatala, keeping on steadily to secure a place on the podium.
With another quality juvenile contest concluded, attention now turns to The Malakpet Plate, scheduled for 4:30 PM, as the Bangalore Summer Meeting continues to deliver competitive racing action.
