Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) hosted the 4th race of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 17th Day, on Saturday, 27th June 2026, with The Managing Committee Gold Cup, a Class I contest for horses rated 80 and above over 1600 metres, scheduled at 03:30 PM. In the Bangalore race result 27th June, PROMISEOFTHEFUTURE delivered an impressive performance under Neeraj Rawal to claim the prestigious feature in 1:36.94 for trainer Irfan Ghatala. Racing in the colours of Ms Ameeta Mehra, the winner combined class and determination to secure another notable success.

PROMISEOFTHEFUTURE travelled comfortably throughout before producing a decisive challenge in the straight. Neeraj Rawal judged the pace perfectly, positioning the favourite within striking distance before asking for maximum effort in the closing stages. The response was immediate as the Irfan Ghatala-trained runner quickened clear to settle the outcome with authority, adding another prestigious victory to an accomplished record.
XANTHE battled on gamely to finish second in 1:37.64 under Hindu Singh for trainer S.S. Attaollahi, staying on well but unable to match the winner’s finishing burst. TOUCH OF GREY, partnered by Saurav Rawat and trained by S. Narredu, completed the podium in 1:38.13 after keeping on steadily through the final furlong.
With another high-quality contest completed, attention now shifts to The S.M. Cama Music and Production Pvt Ltd Juvenile Sprinters’ Million, scheduled for 04:00 PM, where an exciting field of young talent is set to take centre stage.
