Dardanus wins Noble Prince Plate Bangalore race result 21th June

The fourth race on the card at Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), the Noble Prince Plate, produced a closely contested finish over 1800 metres on Sunday afternoon. Run at 3:00 PM for Class IV horses rated 20 to 45, the race saw Dardanus deliver a determined performance under Antony Raj S. to score for trainer Bharath Singh and owner Mr Joydeep Datta Gupta. The winner stopped the clock at 1:52.94, adding another notable success to the Bangalore Summer Meeting programme.

In what proved to be an important Bangalore race result 21th June, Dardanus travelled comfortably through the early stages before being asked for his effort approaching the final bend. Antony Raj S. judged the pace well, gradually improving his position before producing a sustained challenge in the straight. The response was immediate as Dardanus dug deep in the closing stages, holding off late challengers to secure victory in a tightly fought finish.

The runner-up spot went to Stentorian, ridden by Darshan R.N. and trained by S. Narredu, who finished strongly but fell just short, recording a time of 1:53.13. Close behind in third was Mandate, partnered by Aleemuddin for trainer Arjun Mangalorkar, stopping the timer at 1:53.23. The narrow margins between the first three home underlined the competitive nature of the contest.

With the Noble Prince Plate concluded, attention now turns to the Civil Service Cup, scheduled for 3:30 PM, as the Bengaluru Turf Club meeting continues with more quality racing action.
