The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), hosted the second race of the Bangalore Summer Meeting on Saturday, 20th June 2026, where PRINCE OF WALES (J: Antony Raj S.) produced a polished performance to win The Borsalino Plate Div II, a Class III contest for horses rated 40 to 65 over 1400 metres. Run at 2:30 PM, the race saw the Prasanna Kumar-trained runner score in 1:24.66 for owners M/s Rapar Galloping Stars LLP represented by Mr Rajendran. This Bangalore race result 20th June added another notable success to the afternoon’s competitive programme.
Settled comfortably during the early stages, PRINCE OF WALES travelled strongly before being produced at the right moment in the straight. Antony Raj S. judged the pace well and gradually increased the pressure entering the final furlong, with the winner responding gamely to establish a decisive advantage. The gelding maintained his momentum to the finish, giving trainer Prasanna Kumar another valuable success during the summer season.
ALAMGIR (J: L. Alex Rozario, T: Irfan Ghatala) finished second after staying on steadily to clock 1:25.59. EXCEED (J: Hindu Singh, T: S.S. Attaollahi) was close behind in third, stopping the timer at 1:25.64 after making late progress. The placed runners kept the winner honest throughout the concluding stages, ensuring a competitive finish to the Class III event.
