The Meydan Plate, 4th race of the day, run under the auspices of the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) during the Bangalore Summer Meeting, 13th Day, Saturday, 13th June 2026, turned into a commanding display by MONEY BAGS (J: Antony Raj S., T: Prasanna Kumar), who surged clear in the Class I contest for horses rated 80 and above over 1200 metres at 03:30 PM. The winner is owned by Capt Jamshed J Appoo, Mr K Manoj Kumar, Mr K Kaliyaperumal, and Mr J Ramesh. The Bangalore race result 13th June once again highlighted sharp sprinting quality at the top level.
Racing over a sharp sprint trip, MONEY BAGS was settled in a comfortable rhythm early before being produced with a well-timed move in the final stretch. Displaying strong acceleration and control, the Prasanna Kumar-trained runner responded instantly when asked by Antony Raj S., gradually asserting dominance to take charge and never look back in the closing stages.
EFFICACY (J: Akshay Kumar, T: S.S. Attaollahi) put in a sustained effort to finish second, clocking 1:14.94 after staying in contention throughout the run-in. RICARDO (J: Aleemuddin, T: Arjun Mangalorkar) completed the frame in third with a time of 1:15.05, running on steadily but unable to match the winner’s decisive turn of foot in the final 200 metres.
With the feature concluded, attention now shifts to the upcoming Justice P. Medapa Memorial Trophy at 04:00 PM, which promises another competitive clash on the card.
