Wednesday’s fixture at Hamilton Park Racecourse will feature six races and more than £55,000 in prize money, with a compelling blend of handicaps and maiden contests forming the evening’s programme. Scheduled to commence at 6:30pm and conclude at 9:00pm, the card will present a varied examination of speed, stamina and consistency across distances ranging from 5f 7y to 1m 68y. Fields of differing sizes and experience levels will ensure a competitive and informative evening at one of Scotland’s established racing venues.

Opening the programme, the Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Stakes (Class 6) will be contested at 6:30pm over 6f 6y for runners aged four years and older. Carrying prize money of £7,000, the sprint will feature Penny Mountain, Zu Run, Endowed, Mister Sky Blue, No Nay Nevermind, Doon The Glen and Summerstorms Dream among the expected participants. The race will provide an immediate test of pace and racecraft as the evening’s action gets underway.

Attention will then shift to the EBF Maiden Stakes (Class 4) at 7:00pm. Worth £11,500 and run over 6f 6y, the contest for two-year-olds will bring together Casino Star, Desert Move, My Mate Fitz, Royal Heritage and Sea Palace. As a race restricted to juveniles, it will offer valuable insight into several emerging prospects at an early stage of their careers.

A significant staying examination will follow at 7:30pm when the Robert Graham Millar Memorial Maiden Stakes (Class 3) is staged over 1m 3f 15y. The £13,500 event will feature Florida Dreams, Togeather Forever, Glory Of The Seas, Yafreh and Aussie Pearl. With the longest distance on the programme, the contest will place considerable emphasis on stamina and resilience while providing an opportunity for a maiden success.

Speed will assume centre stage in the Handicap Stakes (Class 5) at 8:00pm. Run over 5f 7y for prize money of £8,000, the sprint will attract Pal Joey, Tees Aggregates, Mount Ruapehu, Hi Lord, South Parade, Canaria Queen and Highland Bear. The sharp nature of the trip will demand swift acceleration and sustained momentum from the outset.

The competitive tempo of the meeting will continue in the Handicap Stakes (Class 5) at 8:30pm. Also worth £8,000 and contested over 6f 6y, the race will feature No Return, Pop Star, Ingleby Archie, Impressor, Jet Warrior, Novak and Iris Dancer. The field will comprise a mixture of experienced handicappers and progressive runners seeking to enhance their records.

Bringing the fixture to its conclusion, the Handicap Stakes (Class 6) will be run at 9:00pm over 1m 68y. The £7,000 contest is expected to attract the largest field of the evening, with Motawaared, Spirit Catcher, Mwafaq, Tees George, The Sweet Escape, Condotti, Perfidia and Pisanello among those set to line up. The mile contest will provide a fitting finale to a programme characterised by diversity in both distance and race conditions.
