Knotty Emperor produced a polished display to land the 3rd race of the day at 03:00 PM over 1400 metres.

Race 3, The Elite Force Plate, a Maiden race for 3-year-old horses run over 1400M on 30 May 2026 at 03:00 PM, saw Knotty Emperor assert control in the closing stages to score for owner group comprising Mr K Kamesh, Mr Ashok Ranpise, Mr M N Nambiar, Mr D Sanjeev Basapa, Mr Gautam Basapa, Mr Srikanth Badruka, Mr Dharmesh Mehta, Mr Rajkumar S, Dr N Swaroop Kumar & Mr K Balamukunda Das.
Settled in midfield early, Knotty Emperor (J: Vivek G., T: Prasanna Kumar) travelled comfortably while tracking the pace before being switched out for a decisive run in the final 300 metres. Responding strongly under pressure, the colt quickened well to seize command and hold firm in the run to the line, stopping the clock in a smart 1:27.66.
Friedrich (J: Akshay Kumar, T: Pradeep Annaiah) produced a steady effort to finish second, clocking 1:28.89 after staying in contention throughout but unable to match the winner’s late acceleration.
Rampage (J: A. Sandesh, T: Shazaan Shah) secured third place in 1:29.30, staying on gamely in the final furlong to complete the frame.
With the 3rd race concluded, attention now turns to the Marilingaiah Memorial Trophy, set to go to post at 03:30 PM, expected to further intensify the competitive spirit of the afternoon card.
