The outcome added another key update to the ongoing Bangalore race result 24May. storyline, as ZEPHYRINE produced a polished finishing burst to claim top honours for trainer Irfan Ghatala and jockey Pavan, racing in the colours of M/s Arun Alagappan Racing LLP.
In a tightly packed sprint where fractions mattered, Zephyrine displayed excellent gate speed and settled comfortably just behind the early leaders before being guided into contention on the turn. Once asked for an effort in the final 300 metres, the filly responded with authority, quickening smartly to edge clear in the closing strides and seal victory in 1:14.15, showing both tactical maturity and a decisive turn of foot.
ANNABELLE (J: Antony Raj S., T: Arjun Mangalorkar) delivered a strong chase throughout and stayed on gamely under pressure to secure second place in 1:14.50, while BLIND FAITH (J: A S Peter, T: Rajesh Narredu) completed the frame after a consistent effort, finishing close behind in 1:14.54, ensuring a tightly bunched finish behind the winner.
