Trevor-ridden colt delivered a performance that highlighted both composure and finishing speed, bringing pride to her owners, Ms. A G Bloodstock LLP represented by Mrs. Anasuya Gupta & Mr. Abhiroop Gupta, Ms. Shantanu Sharma, Atul Singh & Mrs. Eeda Gujral Chopra. Racing enthusiasts following the Hyderabad race result 4 April were treated to one of the day’s most decisive maiden wins.
From the gates, Garfunkle positioned himself comfortably just behind the leaders, biding her time while the pace set by Toshiro kept the field honest. As the runners entered the final 400 meters, Garfunkle unleashed a well-timed burst of speed, overtaking the frontrunner with authority and crossing the line in a clear-cut victory, showcasing the training expertise of Bharath Singh.
Runner-up honors went to Toshiro, guided by Mukesh Kumar for trainer Magan Singh Parmar, who kept close tabs on Garfunkle but had to settle for second. Northern Sky (J: A. Ashhad Asbar, T: G Shashikanth) finished strongly to claim third, rounding out a competitive top three.
