Settled comfortably through the early stages, Stormchaser travelled smoothly behind the pace before being brought into contention approaching the final bend. Once asked for an effort, he responded fluently, quickening past rivals in the straight and asserting his superiority inside the final furlong. The manner of his acceleration suggested both promise and professionalism, marking him as one to follow in upcoming assignments.
AS YOU LIKE IT, under P Tejeshwar for trainer Aashay Doctor, finished second after staying on gamely, while stablemate TETSU, partnered by P. Trevor, secured third place, ensuring a double placing for the yard. Both runners showed determination but were unable to match the winner’s decisive turn of foot in the closing stages.
