The Mumbai race result 15 March evening programme at Mumbai Racecourse delivered another compelling contest as Race 7, The Lahinch Million, a Class IV handicap for Indian horses rated 20 to 46 (0 to 19 eligible) over 1400 metres, was run at 6:45 PM during the MUMBAI MEETING 2025/26, SEVENTEENTH DAY on Sunday, 15th March 2026.
Rising to the occasion with a composed and authoritative run, Neutralist (J: P. Trevor) powered to victory for trainer Aman Altaf Hussain, rewarding the faith of his ownership group — Capt Jamshed J Appoo, Mr Ashok Ranpise, Mr Anil Saraf, Mrs Ayesha A Hussain, Mr Aftab Singh & Mr Mehtab Singh rep Sohna Stud Farm Pvt Ltd & Mr Waahiid Ali Khan rep Sshaawn Horses and Sports Pvt Ltd.
Settled comfortably through the early stages, Neutralist travelled strongly under P. Trevor as the field approached the final bend. When asked for an effort entering the straight, the colt responded with a smooth surge, gradually asserting superiority over his rivals. Maintaining momentum through the final furlong, Neutralist held his advantage with determination to secure a well-earned victory in the competitive handicap event.
La Dolce Vita (J: Akshay Kumar, T: Bezan Chenoy) ran a resolute race to finish second, keeping the winner within striking distance for much of the stretch before settling for the runner-up position. Starseed (J: A. Omkar, T: Nazzak B. Chenoy) produced a steady late run to claim third place, completing the minor placings in a closely fought finish.
