The HYDERABAD WINTER RACES 2025–2026 continued with Race 6, The Common Land Plate, a Class II handicap for horses aged four years and upward rated 60 to 85, run over 1200 metres at 05:45 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Delivering a decisive sprint performance, Walking Thunder (J: P Ajeeth Kumar) powered home to claim the contest for trainer L V R Deshmukh, representing owner Mr Aditya P. Thackersey, in a strong display of speed and control.

For followers tracking the Hyderabad race result 10 March, the race provided one of the sharper sprint finishes of the evening as Walking Thunder produced a well-timed challenge in the final stages.

Breaking well from the gates, the field settled quickly into a brisk early tempo over the six-furlong trip. Walking Thunder travelled comfortably within striking distance under P Ajeeth Kumar, conserving energy while the early leaders dictated the pace. As the field straightened for home, the Deshmukh-trained runner responded sharply to his jockey’s urging, quickening past rivals in the final furlong to establish a clear advantage and secure the victory with authority.

Timeless Vision (J: Kuldeep Singh Sr, T: Laxman Singh) stayed on resolutely to finish second, while Cherie Chevalier (J: Yash Narredu, T: K S V Prasad Raju) completed the top three after a steady late effort. The trio separated themselves from the rest of the field in the closing stages of the sprint.
