The action continued at the Mumbai Meeting 2025/26 – Sixteenth Day on Sunday, 8th March 2026, with Race 5 – The Greater Mumbai Police Trophy, a Class IV contest for Indian Horses rated 20 to 46 (0 to 19 eligible) run over 1000 metres at 06:30 PM. Speedster Ensky delivered a decisive performance under jockey C. Umesh to secure victory for trainer Faisal A. Abbas, representing owner Mrs Seema Kamlesh Shah, producing a sharp effort in the sprint event.

In this Mumbai race result 8 March, Ensky showed early dash and maintained a strong rhythm throughout the short-distance contest. Positioned prominently from the gates, Umesh kept the filly balanced and travelling smoothly before asking for an effort in the final stages. Ensky responded well, quickening clear in the concluding strides to seal the race with authority.

Finishing second was House Of Lords, ridden by Bharat Singh and trained by Narendra Lagad, who stayed on gamely but could not match the winner’s late acceleration. Jaisalmer, under Dashrath Singh for trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha, finished third after making a steady effort through the final furlong.

With the sprint contest wrapped up, attention at the track now turns to the next event of the evening, The Vallabhdas H. Adwalia Trophy, scheduled for 07:00 PM, where another competitive field is set to line up.
