Race 3 of the MUMBAI MEETING 2025/26, SPECIAL RACE DAY on Sunday, 15th February 2026 featured The Amateur Riders’ Club Trophy, a Class III handicap for Indian horses rated 40 to 66 (20 to 39 eligible) over 1600 metres at 05:00 PM. In what will stand out prominently in the Mumbai race result 15 February coverage, MIRACLE OF HANUKAH delivered a polished performance under P. Trevor, stopping the clock at 1:38:207.
Trained by Aman Altaf Hussain, the winner carried the colours of Mr Solomon F Sopher, Miss Jessy D’Cunha, Miss Veera D’Souza, Mr Ashok Ranpise, Mr Anil Saraf, Mr Kairus Dadachanji, Mr Vishwajeet Sood, Mr Waahiid Ali Khan rep Sshaawn Horses and Sports Pvt Ltd, Mrs Ayesha A Hussain & Mr Anil V Poduval.
Breaking smartly from the gates, MIRACLE OF HANUKAH settled into a comfortable stalking position as the field negotiated the opening furlongs. Trevor allowed his mount to find rhythm along the backstretch before steadily inching closer approaching the bend. Once into the straight, the response was immediate. With a well-timed surge inside the final 300 metres, the gelding asserted authority, quickening decisively to put the race beyond doubt and secure a stylish mile victory.
DON JULIO, ridden by Prashant P. Dhebe and trained by Rehanullah Khan, stayed on gamely to claim second, keeping the winner honest through the final furlong. LAND OF PLENTY, under Ramswarup for trainer Subhag Singh, ran on to finish third, ensuring the minor placings were keenly contested behind the dominant victor.
As the applause settled around the Mumbai track, attention quickly turned to the next event on the card, The Roman Rose Plate at 05:30 PM, promising another competitive chapter on a gripping Special Race Day programme.
