The lights will glow a little brighter over the Philippine Jockey Club on Friday evening as February 13 unfolds into a purpose-driven, incentive-backed eight-race programme. From 5:30pm through 9:00pm, the track will carry a steady pulse of competition, with each race offering the same compelling prize money of ₱300,000. Equal stakes across the board will ensure that no contest fades into the background. Every start will matter. Every finish will carry weight.
The evening will not simply be about racing. It will reflect a structured incentive framework designed to reward participation and sustain competitive depth. As officially announced by management, the races scheduled on February 13 will feature guaranteed prize money, with a minimum of ₱300,000 distributed from first to fourth placers in each event. In addition, MMTC horses competing in all non-stakes races for the week will be eligible for a ₱3,000 trailer subsidy. Participating trainers in non-stakes races will also receive an added cash incentive of ₱2,500 per horse. Sponsored by the Philippine Jockey Club, these measures will strengthen the card’s foundation, ensuring healthy fields and determined connections throughout the night.
Race 1 at 5:30pm will open the programme with an RBHS Class 5 (17–41 Split) contest over 1200m. Six runners will step forward in pursuit of ₱300,000, setting the early rhythm in what is expected to be a sharp and tactical sprint.
At 6:00pm, Race 2 will raise the bar slightly with an RBHS Class 4 (42–56 Split) over the same 1200m trip. Eight runners will line up, and the step up in rating will likely demand greater precision from both horse and rider as the evening gains momentum.
Race 3 at 6:30pm will continue in RBHS Class 4 (42–56 Split) company. Seven runners will contest another 1200m sprint, where pace control and late acceleration will begin to separate contenders from pretenders.
The card will shift back to RBHS Class 5 (17–41 Split) at 7:00pm in Race 4. Seven runners will face the 1200m distance, and the balanced prize structure will ensure that intensity remains high despite the return to the lower rating band.
Race 5 at 7:30pm will return to RBHS Class 4 (42–56 Split), again over 1200m, with seven runners seeking to make their mark. By this stage of the night, rhythm and stamina within the sprint format will become decisive.
At 8:00pm, Race 6 will deliver another RBHS Class 4 (42–56 Split) showdown. Seven runners will chase the same ₱300,000 prize, reinforcing the competitive continuity that defines the evening’s structure.
Race 7 at 8:30pm will revisit RBHS Class 5 (17–41 Split) over 1200m. Seven runners will line up in what could prove a pivotal late-card contest, where even minor margins may determine the outcome.
The curtain will fall at 9:00pm with Race 8, an RBHS Class 4 (42–56 Split) event over 1200m. Eight runners will close the night with the same ₱300,000 reward awaiting the winner and placers, ensuring that the final strides carry as much urgency as the first.
With uniform prize money, structured incentives, and competitive fields across all eight races, Philippine Racecards 13 February will project clarity and intent. Under the lights, equal opportunity will meet rising ambition, and the evening will unfold as a statement of commitment to both participants and the sport itself.
