Race No. 6 at the Mumbai meeting on Sunday, 8 February 2026, delivered a competitive finish as Merchant Of Venice rose to the occasion to win The Nawabzada Rashiduzzafar Khan Trophy, a Class IV contest for Indian horses rated 20 to 46, run over 1600 metres at 5:00 PM. In what quickly became a talking point of the Mumbai race result 8 February, the Adhirajsingh Jodha-trained colt produced a decisive performance for owners M/s Jiyaji Bhosale, Rishikesh Bhosale, Rama Seshu Eyunni, Kishore P.
