Silver Strike wins Race 4 in Mumbai race result 8 February

Race number four on Sunday’s MUMBAI MEETING 2025/26 – Special Race Day, the R. M. & Rukmani Goculdas Million, provided a sharp burst of sprinting action as Silver Strike landed the Class IV contest for Indian Horses rated 20 to 46 over 1200 metres at 4:00 PM on 8 February 2026. In a result that added another highlight to the Mumbai race result 8 February narrative, the Faisal A. Abbas-trained runner showed speed and resolve to score decisively for owners Mrs Seema Kamlesh Shah & Tasneem Hakim Lakdawala, clocking 1:10:366.

Ridden with confidence by C. Umesh, Silver Strike was quickly into stride and travelled smoothly through the early stages, holding a prominent position without being overextended. Turning for home, Umesh asked his mount to quicken, and the response was immediate, with Silver Strike finding a clear change of gear inside the final furlong to put the race beyond doubt.

Interceptor finished second after a genuine effort, with Shrikant Kamble aboard for trainer P. S. Chouhan, staying on resolutely once the winner had struck for home. The placings were completed by Starseed, who ran on to take third under P. Trevor for trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy, ensuring a competitive finish behind the clear winner.

With this sprint settled, attention at Mahalaxmi swiftly turned to the next chapter of the afternoon, as the runners assembled for the N. M. Irani Trophy, scheduled to go to post at 4:30 PM, promising further intrigue on a strong Mumbai card.
