The meeting will begin with a strong emphasis on jumping, before the focus shifts later in the card to shorter-distance races that will place a premium on pace and positioning. The programme will provide a balanced platform for established performers and progressive runners alike.
The card will open at 13:55 with the Prix Soal Racing (Prix René Cramail), a 3,800-metre contest carrying prize money of €83,000. Earl Of Shannon, Never Risk, Funway, and Blackbird will be among the runners expected to feature prominently in what will stand as the most valuable race on the programme.
At 14:28, stamina will come to the fore in the Prix des Ambassadeurs du Béarn (Prix d’Urt) over 4,700 metres worth €34,000. Klaire Secrete, Kass Tete, Kentucky Charly, Kol Vert, and King S Boum will line up for a demanding test that will reward endurance and accurate jumping.
The Prix Christian Mahe will follow at 15:01, contested over 3,500 metres for €45,000. Hasparren, Kermanshah, Minuit Du Seuil, Roman Skies, and Isula Senam will form a well-matched field in a race expected to be run at a solid tempo.
At 15:34, the Prix Leon Daran will be run over 3,500 metres, with €37,000 on offer. Merveilleuse, Marigny, Lady De La Serre, Misty De Kerser, and Manosque will contest a race that will continue the emphasis on stamina.
Speed will take priority at 16:07 in the Prix d’Araujuzon, a 1,600-metre contest worth €15,400. Madigan, Garmi, Balegrio, Yssingeaux, and Top Glory will be expected to ensure a strongly run race around the Pau circuit.
The Prix William Knapp Thorn at 16:40 will return the focus to longer distances, with a 3,800-metre contest worth €53,000. Super Flam, Yes We Hope, Jocko Du Lin, Raffles Liaison, and Poulorius will contest one of the more competitive staying races of the afternoon.
The final phase of the meeting will begin at 17:13 with the Prix de Lescar, a 1,600-metre contest offering €22,100. Khelonyx, Bailen Spa, Storia Di Roma, Belinskov, and Destroying Angel will line up in a race likely to reward tactical awareness.
The programme will conclude at 17:46 with the Prix de Lasclaveries, another 1,600-metre contest. Uppercut, Jordan Baker, Dance Ahead, Pic Du Midi, and Full Gain will compete for €18,200 to close the Wednesday card.
