Jodha, T: Behram Cama) showcased top form in the Gool S. Poonawalla Million (Gr III), defeating Lady Scarlet (I) and Puccini. Stamina was tested in the Ramniwas Ramnarain Ruia Gold Cup (Gr III), where Baychimo (J: A. Sandesh, T: Adhirajsingh Jodha) stayed on resolutely over 2000 metres to outlast Zacharias and Gunsmoke.
The highlight of the day arrived in the Villoo C. Poonawalla Indian Oaks (Gr I), with Fynbos (J: Vivek G., T: P. Shroff) delivering a top-class effort to defeat Kings Gambit, while Dreamer finished third. The penultimate race saw Appalachian (J: T. S. Jodha, T: Nazzak B. Chenoy) prevail over Gold Bar and Renaissance, setting the stage perfectly for the closing act.
