Breaking well from the gates, Don Julio settled in a prominent stalking position under Sandesh’s confident handling. As the field approached the final 400 metres, the winner produced a decisive surge, opening a clear advantage and maintaining strong momentum to the wire, demonstrating both tactical acumen and finishing speed beyond typical maiden company.
Skandha (J: T. S. Jodha, T: Nazzak B Chenoy) pressed Don Julio throughout the home straight but had to settle for second, finishing with a determined run. Mulan (J: C. S. Jodha, T: Adhirajsingh Jodha) rounded out the top three with a late rally, ensuring a competitive finish for the day’s maiden contest.
