Al Ain Racecourse will stage a full evening of Purebred Arabian racing on Thursday, 18 December 2025, with a seven-race programme that blends opportunity for emerging runners with competitive handicaps under the floodlights.

The meeting begins at 17:00 with a Purebred Arabian Maiden over 2000 metres, offering AED 70,000 in prize money. As the longest contest on the card, it presents an early test of stamina and composure for lightly raced or debuting runners, where settling early and seeing out the distance will be crucial.

Race 2 follows at 17:30, another Purebred Arabian Maiden, this time over 1800 metres for AED 70,000. The slightly shorter trip is expected to place a greater emphasis on positioning, with several runners aiming to translate early promise into a first meaningful performance.

At 18:00, the programme steps into handicap company with the Purebred Arabian Handicap (0–85) over 1800 metres, again worth AED 70,000. Weight differentials will shape the contest, as proven performers look to assert their class while improving types seek to gain ground in the ratings.

The fourth race at 18:30 returns to maiden conditions over 1800 metres. With the meeting settling into its rhythm, this contest offers another opening for unexposed runners to stake a claim and give connections something to build upon as the season progresses.

Race 5 at 19:00 introduces a sharper tempo with the Purebred Arabian Handicap (0–70) over 1600 metres. This race is expected to suit developing handicappers, while experienced campaigners will aim to use their racecraft to full advantage.

A notable change of pace arrives at 19:30 with the Purebred Arabian Maiden over 1000 metres. The shortest race of the night, it will place immediate emphasis on gate speed and early positioning, with little margin for error in a fast-run sprint.

The meeting concludes at 20:00 with the Purebred Arabian Handicap (0–85) over 1000 metres, carrying AED 70,000 in prize money. The closing sprint promises a competitive finish, as established sprinters and upwardly mobile runners contest a race designed to end the evening on a decisive note.

With seven races spread across a range of distances, Thursday’s Al Ain programme offers a balanced showcase of Purebred Arabian racing, providing both developmental opportunities and competitive depth across the card.
