Nine Races Lined Up for Kempton Park’s Polytrack Meeting on 17th December

Kempton Park stages a nine-race all-weather programme on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, with action unfolding from 4:05pm through to 8:10pm. Run on the Polytrack, the evening card will bring together apprentice handicaps alongside maiden and novice races, capped by a high-class feature over sprint and middle-distance trips.

The meeting will begin at 4:05pm with THE SMARTVIEW RACECARDS APPRENTICE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) over 1m 3f 219y, offering prize money of £8,000. One Cool Dreamer, Hebridean Nomad and Letmebetheboss will take on Kathleen Mary, Westcombe and The Bay Warrior in a contest that will test stamina and riding judgement.

At 4:40pm, runners will assemble for THE BRITISH EBF MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 4) over 1m 2f 219y, worth £11,000. Maho Bay, Mythical Valentine and Outflank will be joined by Veritable and Kindly Queen, with several lightly raced contenders expected to show progression.

The 5:10pm race will be THE EBF NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 2) over seven furlongs, carrying a prize fund of £25,000. Aqpan, Central Command and Cincinnati Gold will face Golden View, Nicolai and Oro Palacio in a race designed to highlight emerging talent at a higher level.

Sprint action will follow at 5:40pm in THE LONDON SPRINT SERIES QUALIFIER HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2) over six furlongs. With £26,000 on offer, So Darn Hot and Berkshire Whisper will line up against Bolo Neighs, Coul Angel and Hucklesbrook in what will be one of the most competitive races on the card.

The evening’s feature will take place at 6:10pm with THE WILD FLOWER STAKES (CLASS 1) over 1m 3f 219y, offering £50,000 in prize money. Dubai Honour, Shader and Ancient Wisdom will headline the field, alongside Claymore and Lion City  ensuring a strong standard for the top-level contest.

At 6:40pm, attention will turn to THE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 3) over one mile, with £16,000 available. Unassuming, Angel Hunter and Crack On Boys will compete with Dosman, Bravo Zulu and Dingle in a race likely to reward tactical positioning.

The closing stages of the card will feature three Class 6 handicaps. At 7:10pm, THE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) over one mile will include Rhythm N Rock, Super Hit and Dashing Roger, alongside Antiquity, Maid In Chelsea and Flag Carrier.

Two six-furlong divisions will then conclude the meeting. At 7:40pm, THE HAPPY CHRISTMAS FROM THE KEMPTON PARK TEAM HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) (DIV I) will feature Gilt Edge, Smasher, Haziym, Master Dandy, Hint of The Jungle and Valadero.

The final race at 8:10pm, (DIV II), will see Sir Rodneyredblood, Up The Monk, Mister Sandman, Chasing Gold, Analytical Engine and Mintana line up.

With a structured blend of developing runners and established performers, the Kempton Park Race Cards 17 December will provide a comprehensive evening of winter all-weather racing across a wide range of classes and distances.
